Well, the Rockets are doing what needs to be done again. It's scary to watch, sure, but they are that much closer to securing their first playoff series victory in a decade.

I've been relatively quiet (or downright mute) about the NBA Playoffs thus far, but they've got me quite excited. They've also got me a little antsy. This is a year that I can say our team actually has an opportunity to go deep without resorting to wishful thinking to do it.

I played Gears of War for the first time ever this weekend, and have already beaten it on casual and played through half of the game on hardcore. I swear to God, I've not had this much fun with a video game in ages. Condemned and Dead Rising are still on my list of things to play (I've played enough of both now to know they kick much ass ( Read more... )

I've gone without a true next generation game machine for long enough. And no, the Wii doesn't really count. With recent news (beginning as old rumors) that a new Xbox 360 model, complete with an HDMI port and a 120GB hard drive, is on its way... I just don't think I can keep myself away from that gaming goodness any longer.
